Excitement was is the air Sunday afternoon as hundreds of people arrived to West Iredell High School for the AML Wrestling “Wanted Man” event. An enthusiastic crowd packed into the gym, which was transformed into a full fledged wrestling show complete with lights, cameras and action!
Local AML talent like JR Miller and Brad Attitude, along with international stars such as Matt Hardy and Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziegler), performed for an appreciative audience. The show started with a greeting from local broadcasting legend Harold Johnson, who got the crowd going, and later featured a “doors ladders and chairs” match, a new tag team champion crowning, and nonstop action from start to finish. There were meet and greets before the event and after the final 1,2,3, which provided many local families a fun-filled Sunday afternoon.
Official attendance: 1,237. Thank you, Statesville!
