The Boys & Girls Club of the Piedmont hosted its third Community Day of the year on Thursday.
The Statesville Police Department completely funded the end-of-summer event, which included a bouncy house, slide, games, and other activities.
Statesville Fire Department personnel came out to engage with the children and show off a fire truck.
SPD Community Resource Coordinator NaKayla Griffin said it was a great way to end camp for the kids.
“This is a way they can have some more fun and get to know people from the community.”
Around 115 club members participated.
