Congresswoman Virginia Foxx on Wednesday endorsed Grey Mills for Congress in North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District.
Mills, who represents the 95th District in the N.C. House, is one of five Republicans running in the March 5 primary election for the seat being vacated by Rep. Patrick McHenry.
“Throughout Grey’s time in the N.C. State House, he has been a strong leader for our conservative way of life and a fierce advocate for our North Carolina values,” Foxx said. “With our nation facing unprecedented crises like the wide-open southern border, skyrocketing inflation, and bureaucrats indoctrinating our children in schools, it is more important than ever that we elect someone with a proven record of conservatism who will deliver results for hard-working North Carolinians.
“I am proud to endorse Grey Mills for Congress, and I look forward to the great work he will do for our state,” she added.
Foxx has represented North Carolina’s 5th District in Congress since 2005 and currently serves as the chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. She has represented several areas in the new 10th District in the past, including Yadkin County and parts of Forsyth, Iredell, and Catawba counties.
Mills said it was an honor to earn Foxx’s endorsement.
“Dr. Foxx is an amazing leader both in her community and in Washington,” he said. “Her dedication to the people of North Carolina is on full display every day through her work as the chair of the Education and Workforce Committee in Congress and her fearless advocacy for North Carolina values. She is a champion for parental rights and school choice, and a role model for public servants everywhere.”
