Roots in the Round will host its first fundraising event, Brunch & Bluegrass, on Sunday, March 24.
This event, which will be held at the Old Jail in Statesville, aims to bring musicians and listeners together for a laid-back Sunday morning filled with flavor and flatpickin’.
Attendees will enjoy toe-tapping tunes and delectable brunch provided by D’ubya & Sons Artisan Que.
The funds raised at Brunch & Bluegrass will support Roots in the Round’s focus on expanding its programming budget so it can provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talent and thrive.
“We’re all about building a supportive community here at Roots in the Round,” said CEO Bryan Olson. “Connecting artists and music fans is crucial for everyone’s growth and for making our local music scene thrive.”
Admission to Brunch & Bluegrass starts at $20, which includes a delicious brunch. Check-in starts at 10:30 a.m. Brunch will be served promptly at 11:30 a.m.
The Old Jail is located at 203 S. Center Street in Statesville.
