The Rotary Club of Statesville Endowment has awarded a total of $27,000 to 13 local nonprofits for the spring 2024 grant period.
A reception was held at Randy Marion Lincoln on June 4 to celebrate the nonprofit recipients and their commitment to the community. This year’s application period had more than $69,000 in requests, totaling more than $257,140 in direct impact projects.
The nonprofits receiving funds are:
● Boys and Girls Club of the Piedmont;
● Chestnut Grove Community Center;
● G4G (Grilling for God);
● Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County – Rainbow Kids;
● Iredell County Partnership for Young Children;
● Iredell Adult Day Center;
● Kintegra;
● Pharos Parenting;
● Power Cross;
● Rescue Ranch;
● The Salvation Army of Iredell County;
● United Way of Iredell County; and
● Village Intervention Partnership
These funds will ensure that many of our friends, neighbors and co-workers will receive the assistance needed to live a healthy and productive life, leading to becoming contributing members of society.
Established by Dr. Ralph Bentley, a long-time Rotary Club of Statesville member, and other dedicated Rotarians, this Endowment Fund grants funding to local non-profits annually through an application procedure. Since its inception $403,000 has been awarded to local nonprofits. This Fund is made possible through the donations of its membership.
