M/I Homes is celebrating the start of sales at Sanders Ridge in Troutman with a grand opening event planned for Saturday, March 9.

The event, which will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include self-guided tours of eight move-in ready homes. Visitors can also tour the model home, and get inspired with great decorating ideas in this new community of 41 home sites just east of Interstate 77 off Houston Road.

Guests will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Roots Food Co., including beef carpaccio sliders, focaccia with mozzarella and onions, curried chicken meatballs, fruit and cheese.

Sanders Ridge is designed to appeal to families who want the benefits of small-town living with easy access to Mooresville, Statesville, and Charlotte. Homes feature 2,735 to 3,613 square feet of living space, with three to five bedrooms and up to 3.5 bathrooms. Floor plans include open layouts with first-floor owner’s suites, stainless steel appliances, kitchen islands, walk-in pantries, and two-car garages.

Pricing at Sanders Ridge starts at $459,990 for homes built from the ground up. The move-in ready homes are priced in the $500,000s.

The model home features the Bristol plan with an owner’s suite on the main floor. The plan offers plenty of amenities for an active family, including five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a loft, a back patio, an open-concept main living area, and a two-car garage.
