Members of Scotts High School Class of 1962 recently gathered for their 62nd class reunion at Boxcar Grille in Statesville. In addition to welcoming former teachers George Conger, Franklin Ivey, and Kenneth Wilson; the class also welcomed members of Scotts High School Class of 1961.

The Class of 1962 also remembered classmates who have passed, including: Sandy Lane Baird, Carolyn Loretta Cook Mason, Jerry L. Donaldson, Peggy Moore Hill, James Keller, Paul Martin, Ella Deanne Moore Stroud, William “Bill” H. Pennell, Ellis Campbell, Carole Little Brown, Johnny Massey, Elaine Morrison Campbell, Linda Sharpe Goodin, Dr. Kenneth Franklin Steele, Carolyn Dyson Gilreath, DeAnne Moore Stroud, Glenda Pope Wiseman, Doris Deal Nash, Susie Templeton McColl, Danny Stikeleather, James “Jimmy” Larkin Reavis, and Linda Williams Yeakley.

Plans for a future reunion details will follow at a later date.
