Sheriff Darren Campbell on Wednesday announced that 11 suspects have been arrested in the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office’s latest drug roundup.
This operation, part of ongoing investigations into drug trafficking, targeted career and repeat offenders involved in the sale of illegal drugs, Campbell said. Tips and information from concerned citizens played a crucial role in identifying and apprehending these offenders, he added.
The arrests were made from March through June.
“We will continue to use every tool at our disposal to lower crime rates and build distrust within the narcotics trade, making Iredell County an unprofitable, unsafe place for drug dealers to conduct business,” Campbell said.
