Three individuals were arrested after Iredell County Sheriff’s Office deputies found cocaine and marijuana in a home off Amity Hill Road in Statesville.
Sheriff Darren Campbell announced the arrests of Lisa Ann Evans, 56, of Amity Hill Road, Statesville; Shannon Dalton Shook, 37, of Country View Road, Statesville; and Katelynn Paige Woolledge, 27, of 175 Arthurs Road, Troutman, in a news release Tuesday.
On Sunday, December 31, deputies went to Evans’ home in an attempt to serve her with felony narcotics warrants, Campbell said.
After arriving at the residence, the deputies located Evans and took her into custody. While searching her for weapons, they discovered Evans to be in possession of cocaine, according to the news release.
Based on additional evidence at the scene, the deputies applied for a search warrant for the rest of the residence, Campbell said.
After obtaining the search warrant, the deputies located 34.67 grams of cocaine and 193.8 grams of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia, according to the news release.
Shook and Woolledge, who were present at the time, were arrested without incident.
All three suspects were taken to the Iredell County Detention Center.
Evans was charged with Felony Trafficking Cocaine, Felony Manufacture a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, and Felony Maintain a Dwelling for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance. Evans was given no bond on these charges because she was out on bond for unrelated charges.
Shook was charged with Felony Possession of Cocaine and a misdemeanor drug offense. He was given a $5,000 secured bond.
Woolledge was charged with a misdemeanor drug offense. She was given a 1,000.00 dollar secured bond.
