Sheriff Darren Campbell announced the arrests of Gary Robert Labretone, 40, of Scenic Drive, Mooresville, and Jillian Alexandrea Plummer, 21, of Crestridge Road, Statesville, in a news release.

On Sunday, August 25, ICSO deputies went to Plummer’s home to serve a warrant, Campbell said.

While at the residence, Deputy D. Joyce observed crystal methamphetamine in plain view and requested assistance from Deputy C. Wilson, who is assigned to the ICSO Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team, the sheriff added.

After Deputy Wilson secured a search warrant for the residence, deputies searched the property and found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence and inside a vehicle on the property, according to the news release.

Labretone and Plummer were arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance and two misdemeanor drug offenses.

Both suspects were transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. Magistrate Callejas issued both Labretone and Plummer a $5,000 secured bond on their charges.
