Sheriff Darren Campbell announced the arrests of Heather Lynn Hopkins, 48, and Daryl Thomas Harmon, 36, in a news release.

ICSO deputies assisted probation officers with a search of a residence off Turnersburg Highway about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Campbell said.

During the search, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and multiple firearms were found, according to the news release.

Hopkins and Harmon were arrested.

Hopkins was charged with possession with intent to deliver, manufacture or sell methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintain a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Harmon faced the same charges and an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Both were taken before Magistrate Hollar. Hopkins received a $25,000 secured bond, while Harmon was held without bond due to his status as a released offender.

This case underscores the importance of cooperation between deputies and probation officers in safeguarding the community and addressing criminal activity, Campbell said.
