The Rev. Dr. William E. “Bill” White has been appointed interim pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Statesville.
With a rich background in pastoral ministry, Rev. White has been an ordained parish pastor for over 38 years. He has served for the North American Lutheran Church (NALC) as a dean, as a member of the Life-to-Life Discipleship Team, and presently serves as the NALC’s Eastern Area Assistant to the Bishop.
Rev. White is passionate about discipleship. His ministry has evolved around striving to live out Jesus’ Great Commandment and Great Commission.
“We extend a warm welcome to Pastor Bill as we embark on this journey of spiritual renewal and discovery together,” church officials said in a news release.
Sunday Worship Services begin at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.
