A Charlotte man faces drug and gun charges following a traffic stop by Troutman police officers.

The TPD announced the arrest of Abraham Roman, 25, in a news release.

Officers stopped a vehicle at Perth Road and State Park Road about 9:35 p.m. on August 16 about 9:35 p.m.

While speaking with Roman, who was driving the vehicle, officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle, according to the news release.

During the search of the vehicle, officers found three concealed pistols, including two that had been reported stolen, police said. In addition to the firearms, officers also located cocaine in the vehicle, according to the news release.

Roman was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of possession of a stolen firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of carrying a concealed gun.

He was ordered held on a $30,000 bond.
