Troutman Elementary third-graders express their appreciation to local veterans

For the third year, third-graders in Mrs. Crisp, Mrs. Hawkins, and Mrs. Davidson’s classes at Troutman Elementary School made Thank You cards to send to veterans associated with the classes.

In preparation for making the cards, the students learned about the importance of Veterans Day and how sacrifices were made by these veterans for our country, teacher Bethany Crisp shared.

“We want to thank each one of them for their service in the military and for their sacrifice for our freedoms and our country,” she explained.
