A mobile home off Ramblewood Lane in Troutman was destroyed by an early morning fire on Tuesday.

Troutman Fire & Rescue personnel responded to the scene at 108 Ramblewood Lane about 6:13 a.m. after receiving multiple reports of a structure fire. They were met with fire and heavy smoke coming from the mobile home.

Firefighters quickly knocked back the flames and searched the structure for occupants. The search was negative, and no injuries were reported.

Personnel from Statesville, West Iredell, Monticello fire departments also responded, along with Iredell County EMS personnel.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
