Fred & June’s Books is partnering with Matt and Amy Myers to bring a “Normie”-themed scavenger hunt to Downtown Mooresville.
With the goal of bringing additional foot traffic to Downtown retailers, as well as exposure for local author Amy Myers, this fun event is a way to highlight the creativity of our community as a whole, as well as our creative Downtown Mooresville businesses.
The scavenger hunt runs June 1-30. Visit one of 26 local businesses to spot “Normie” and get a stamp or initial on your Normie Tracker. Normie Trackers can be obtained online (bit.ly/FindNormie), at Fred & June’s Books, or at one of the additional participating businesses.
Fred & June’s Books is located at 248 North Main Street in Mooresville.
Stephen Hayes, owner of Fred & June’s Books stated, is excited about the scavenger hunt.
“It’s not just a game—it’s a chance to make memories with loved ones, support local businesses, and celebrate the spirit of Downtown Mooresville!” he said.
Participants who collect stamps from 14 businesses will receive three entries to win a Final Prize Pack (consisting of a variety of gift cards from local businesses), while those visiting all 26 businesses will receive six entries.
Completed Normie Trackers can be turned into Normie Headquarters at Fred & June’s Books.
The contest is open to both children and adults, but Prize Packs must be collected by an individual 18 years or older. In addition to Final Prize Pack entries, the first 250 to complete their entire Normie Tracker will receive a cute and compact finisher prize!
