Special to IFN
The Mooresville Day Festival will return to Downtown Mooresville on Saturday, March 22, from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Now in its third year, this event brings together residents for a day of celebration, fun, and local flair.
“Each year, the Mooresville Day Festival grows larger, and we are thrilled to see how much our community embraces this event,” said Arts & Events Manager Christine Patterson. “This festival has truly become a highlight of the year, showcasing all that makes Mooresville such a wonderful place to live, work, and play.”
This year’s festival will feature an array of family-friendly activities, local artisans, food trucks and breweries.
Highlights
• School Mascot Dance-Off: Cheer on local school mascots as they show off their moves in a high-energy dance competition at the performance stage. Pine Lake Preparatory took first place at last year’s event.
• Artisan Market: Broad Street will feature a marketplace, filled with 50+ talented local artisans offering unique, handcrafted goods.
• Local Food & Beer: Indulge in local food trucks and downtown eateries, paired with beverages from area breweries.
• Family Activities: From face painting and inflatables to rides and balloon animals, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
• Performance Stage: Main Street will feature a stage showcasing live performances by local talent throughout the festival.
To make the event even more accessible, a park-and-ride shuttle will run continuously throughout the day, picking up attendees at One Mooresville Center (750 W. Iredell Avenue) and dropping off at the Charles Mack Citizen Center (215 N. Main Street).
