The Iredell County Health Department invites the community to attend “Breaking the Stigma: A Conversation with Tiffany Jenkins on Opioid Misuse and Recovery,” an empowering event focused on addiction, recovery, and hope.
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Statesville Civic Center.
Jenkins, a comedian, speaker, and person in recovery, will share her personal journey through opioid addiction and recovery. She is widely recognized for her raw, relatable storytelling and has built a following of over 5 million on Facebook and 1 million on Instagram.
She also co-hosts “The Tiff and Flip Show” and “Take It or Leave It,” in which she candidly discusses addiction, motherhood, and mental health.
This free event is open to the public and is especially intended for individuals experiencing opioid addiction, as well as their families, friends, and support systems. Lunch will be provided.
