Personnel from the Mooresville, Mount Mourne, Shepherds, South Iredell and Lake Norman fire departments were alerted to a structure fire on Cherrycrest Lane in Mooresville about 4:05 a.m. Wednesday.

Arriving units transmitted a working fire with fire coming from the rear of the structure. Davidson, Cornelius and Atwell fire departments were added to the alarm.

Crews stretched one hose line and made an aggressive interior attack on the fire, while other firefighters searched the structure for occupants. No injuries were reported.

The fire was placed under control at 4:21 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
