The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Iredell County Partnership for Young Children, NC Child, and Iredell Economic Development, invites community business leaders to attend a critical summit on February 14 to address the ongoing childcare crisis impacting families and businesses throughout Iredell County.
As local families and businesses continue to feel the strain of limited childcare access, this summit will bring together key stakeholders to explore tangible solutions and collaborative strategies to address the crisis head-on.
“Childcare is a critical issue for both families and businesses, and we must work together to create solutions,” said Shannon Viera, Chamber president & CEO. “This summit is an opportunity for our community to engage, share ideas, and advocate for necessary changes in the childcare sector.”
Key topics Include:
● The impact of the childcare crisis on Iredell County;
● Local initiatives and partnerships working toward change;
● Strategies to attract and retain childcare providers; and
● Advocacy efforts to support both families and businesses in the region

The event will take place at the Unity Center located at 1145 Salisbury Road, Statesville, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served, providing an opportunity for networking and discussion.
