The Iredell County Republican Party Convention is scheduled for Saturday, March 15, at the Iredell County Government Center, located at 200 S. Center Street in Statesville.

All Iredell County residents who are registered as Republicans on or before January 31, 2025, are eligible to attend and participate. Registration will take place from 7 to 9 a.m. Participants must be in line by 9 a.m. to register.

Precinct meetings will begin at 9 a.m. During these meetings, elections will be held for chair, vice chair, and secretary of each precinct. Delegates will be listed, and precinct chairs will elect an area captain for their respective group.

The County Convention will begin immediately following the precinct meetings. During the Convention, elections will be held for the Executive Committee, including Chair, 1st Vice Chair, Vice Chair of Precinct Organization and Activism, Secretary, and Treasurer. Additionally, elections will be held for five at-large positions on the Executive Committee. Individuals interested in running for office should contact the Executive Committee Nominating Committee.
