Special to IFN
The Iredell County Public Library (ICPL) is proud to celebrate National Library Week (April 6-12) as part of a national effort to highlight the power of libraries and the role they play in strengthening communities. This year’s theme — “Drawn to the Library!” — encourages residents to explore everything the library has to offer — from books and digital resources to crafting workshops and children’s STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) programs.
“National Library Week is the perfect time to rediscover your local library and take advantage of the many resources available,” explained ICPL Director Juli Moore. “No matter what draws you in, the library has something for everyone. Whether you’re preparing for a career change, launching a business, raising a family, or embracing retirement, our library is here to support your journey.”

• Monday, April 7: Right to Read Day — A day for readers, advocates, and library lovers to celebrate the right to read.
