In celebration of Military Appreciation Month, the Iredell County Register of Deeds Office will honor veterans and active-duty service members with a Military Appreciation Hot Dog Drive-Thru Lunch on Thursday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will take place in front of the Register of Deeds building, located at 211 Constitution Lane, Statesville, and will feature a curbside hot dog lunch, complete with chips and a drink, delivered directly to the vehicles of participating service members.
“We are proud to recognize the incredible sacrifices made by our military members,” said Renee Holland, Iredell County Register of Deeds. “This lunch may be a small gesture, but it’s one way we can say thank you and show our continued support for those who’ve served our country. Military Appreciation Month gives us a meaningful opportunity to express our gratitude, and we’re honored to participate.”
The Register of Deeds Office invites all veterans and active-duty military to attend and enjoy a hot dog meal in their honor.
