Holly Murzyn has been hired as director of provider relations at Iredell Health System. In his role, she will serve as a liaison between the health system and providers, fostering communication, identifying growth opportunities, and improving patient experience.

Holly Murzyn

An Alexander County native, Murzyn brings nearly two decades of experience in healthcare to Iredell Health System. She served in physician liaison capacities at both Emory Healthcare and Kindred Healthcare and, most recently, as senior physician liaison at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. She holds a B.A. in psychology from Lenoir Rhyne University and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Pfeiffer University.

Joining Iredell Health provides an exciting opportunity for Murzyn to give back to the community that raised her.

“I chose Iredell to personally contribute to the health system that serves my current and childhood homes. I appreciate and want to support local, relationship-driven healthcare,” said Murzyn. “I’m honored to serve the 71-year legacy as our community’s independent healthcare fixture and positively impact the system’s geographic and strategic growth plans focusing on provider confidence and collaboration.”

Murzyn lives in Troutman with her husband Derek, two sons, Yates (10) and Gentry (4) and their energetic Bernedoodle, Georgia. When she’s not at work, Murzyn enjoys boating on Lake Hickory, or eating, shopping, and hiking in the highlands of North Carolina. She also enjoys music and singing — including performing the National Anthem at local college sporting events.
