Special to IFN

In celebration of Doctors’ Day, Lake Norman Regional Medical Center presented a donation to the United Way of Iredell County in honor of the hospital’s medical staff. The donation will be used to fight for the health, education and financial stability of the residents of Iredell County.

“We are so grateful for our partnership with the team at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center,” United Way of Iredell County Executive Director Brett Eckerman said. “For families to thrive, they must have access to great healthcare, but also basic needs that create the foundation for a healthy life. Whether it is food, shelter, transportation or some other necessity, this donation will help us provide the support families need to get through difficult times.

“On behalf of all those whose lives your generosity will touch, thank you.”
