Mitchell Community College will host the 2025 statewide meeting of the N.C. Community College Association of Bioscience Instructors on Friday, April 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the Mooresville Campus, located at 219 N Academy Street.

This annual event brings together a collaborative group of innovators dedicated to enhancing bioscience instruction at two-year institutions across North Carolina. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, share best practices, and foster fellowship and communication among community college bioscience faculty and staff.

The 2024-2025 leadership board members are:
• President: Janay Dennis, Mitchell Community College
• Vice President: Kimberly Miller, Central Piedmont Community College
• Secretary: Lynn Swafford, Wayne Community College
• Treasurer: Courtney Behrle, BioNetwork

Regional Representatives:
• Eastern: Sondi Hoffman, Wayne Community College
• Central: Kelsey Crowley, Central Carolina Community College
• Western: Kristen Smith, Catawba Valley Community College
