A large crowd visited Fort Dobbs State Historic Site on Saturday as characters dressed in period costume presented The Defense of Fort Dobbs. Visitors learned about daily life at the fort in 1760. The event featured tours, gun demonstrations, cooking and baking, blacksmithing, wood working, and much more. Visitors also enjoyed exploring the fort’s nature trails.
