Sen. Vickie Sawyer’s popular radio program, “We’re Just Saying,” is set to expand its reach across the Piedmont and Western North Carolina.
Beginning Friday, January 17, the show will air weekly on Signal Hill Media Partners stations from 11 a.m. to 12 noon and will also return to podcast format on all major streaming platforms.
Signal Hill’s network includes:
• WAME 92.9 FM / 550 AM (Statesville);
• WBRM 103.9 FM Big Foot Country (Marion);
• WCAB 100.9 FM / 590 AM Pure Country (Rutherfordton); and
• WZGM 96.1 FM / 1350 AM Real Country (Asheville)
Launched in spring 2020 as a public service during COVID-19 lockdowns, “We’re Just Saying” quickly became an entertaining and trusted source with up-to-date insights on North Carolina’s political landscape. The show provides listeners with an insider’s perspective on state government with a focus on down-to-earth discussions.
“We bring Raleigh to you,” said Sawyer, a Republican who represents Iredell County and North Mecklenburg. “Expanding the program allows us to connect with more communities, providing a deeper understanding of the issues that matter most to North Carolinians.”
David Coble, a co-host of the show, shared his enthusiasm for the program’s increased reach.
“It’s an honor to see ‘We’re Just Saying’ grow and connect with an even broader audience. Continuing to broadcast in Iredell County, while expanding to my hometown of Candler and other communities across Western North Carolina through Signal Hill stations is a deeply meaningful milestone. I’m excited to keep bringing relevant conversations to listeners across the region.”
Each episode features engaging conversations with state legislators, business leaders, and policy advocates.
The inaugural broadcast will include:
♦ Sen. Tim Moffitt (R – Henderson), chair of the Senate Committee on Regulatory Reform, who will reflect on his legislative experience, the state’s response to Hurricane Helene, and provide an overview of his goals for the upcoming session; and
♦ John Thompson of the North Carolina Medical Society, who will discuss the challenges posed by insurance practices like “prior authorization” and their impact on patients and doctors.
Listeners can tune in live every Friday on WAME, WBRM, WCAB, WZGM, and via Facebook. Recorded episodes will also be available on all major streaming platforms.

Wonder why she and Rep. Jeffrey McNeely moved their shows from WSIC?
Probably because they did not want to be on the same station as the puppet master.
I know you read all the comments Micah so please give me a shoutout. Let’s get together and play some video games on your couch.
