The Statesville Police Department reported the following arrests:

DECEMBER 23
♦ Ja’Cory Dashawn Kirkland, 18, of Fifth Street, Statesville, charged with felony possession of marijuana, and possession with Intent to sell or deliver marijuana.

DECEMBER 24
♦ Quaylan Jevon Peet, 41, of Woodruff Street, Statesville, charged with alteration, destruction, or removal of serial number from a firearm; and possession of a firearm with serial number removed.

DECEMBER 28
♦ Tony Curtis Connor Jr., 46, of Mills Hill Lane, Statesville, charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance.

♦ Randall Antinon Carr, 45, of Glade Street, Statesville, charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance.

♦ Kelly Jerome Campbell, 34, of Wallace Street, Statesville, charged with possession of a controlled substance in a local jail.

DECEMBER 29
♦ Dustin Steele Freeman, 28, of Feather Pond Drive, East Bend, charged with possession of methamphetamine.

DECEMBER 31
♦ Aaron David Finney Jr., 34, of W. Front Street, Statesville, charged with assault inflicting physical injury by strangulation.

JANUARY 1
♦ Carolina Thomas Shue, 27, of Gilbert Road, Statesville, charged with possession of methamphetamine.

♦ Shirley Jean Linney, 51, of Shelton Avenue, Statesville, charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury on an individual with a disability, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

JANUARY 2
♦ Jose Andrea Pulecro Hernandez, 28, of Wilson W. Lee Boulevard, Statesville, charged with attempted first-degree burglary.

♦ Mark Londel Seabrook Dukes, 34, of Fourth Street, Statesville, charged with felony possession of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for controlled substances.

JANUARY 7
♦ Jamey Bruce Jock, 55, of Deer View Circle, Statesville, charged with assault inflicting physical injury by strangulation.
