The Statesville Police Department reported the following felony arrests:

JANUARY 7
♦ Jamey Bruce Jock, 55, of Deerview Circle, Statesville, charged with assault by strangulation inflicting serious injury.

JANUARY 9
♦ Brantley Lee Minton, 36, of Frye Lane, Statesville, charged with larceny of a motor vehicle.

♦ Joseph Perry Nancy, 34, of 16th Avenue, Hickory, charged with assaulting a firefighter, EMT or hospital security.

♦ Jason A. Desmangles, 42, of no fixed address charged with identity theft and obtaining property by false pretenses.

JANUARY 15
♦ Christi Moore Peeler, 42, of no fixed address, Statesville, charged with felony probation violation.

JANUARY 20
♦ Kendalle Quantay Dobbins, 22, of Lipton Lane, Statesville, charged with a firearms offense.

JANUARY 21
♦ Marion Keith Willis, 63, of Hidden Lakes Road, Statesville, charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
