Statesville’s Martin Luther King Jr. Committee is launching a new community event on Saturday, March 29, at Martin Luther King Jr. Park from 12 noon until 6 p.m. 

The Unity in the Community event aims to bring our community together to celebrate coming together in diversity and peace. Live entertainment, vendors with food and other items, and games for the kids will be available for everyone’s enjoyment. Some local organizations will be on hand to share their services.

This is a family-friendly event, and all are welcome. Martin Luther King Jr. Park is located at 911 Lakewood Drive in Statesville.

No pets are allowed other than service dogs.
