James Michael Bartlett, 48, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.

He was born on February 26, 1971, in Nassau County, N.Y., to James and Patricia Tietjen Bartlett. James was a hard worker, had a strong personality, a huge heart, and was a compassionate man. He was very passionate about his job. He enjoyed working on his classic cars, hunting, and the Carolina Panthers. James was very proud of his two children and was involved in all aspects of their lives.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Victoria Bartlett and Christopher Bartlett; sister, Kelly Mahoney and husband Terrence; and his former spouse and primary caregiver, Stephanie Marino-Bartlett.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. with a time of remembrance at 5 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Melanoma Foundation.
