Christy Hein Hager, 42, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020, at Carolinas Medical Center Charlotte.
She was born on September 5, 1977, in Bethlehem, Pa., to Judith Yoder Hein and the late Russell Hein. Christy enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, taking care of her cattle, and having a garden. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She always put others first and was everyone’s best friend.
Christy was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Hein.
In addition to her mother, Judith, she is survived by her husband, Mitchell Hager; children, Breanna Cruse, Jaidon Rowton, Matthew Hager (Stephanie), and Zachary Hager; brothers, Dennis Sandt and Timothy Sandt; sister-in-law, Alison Hager; brother-in-law, Brad Hager; and grandchildren, Emmilynn Hager, Ava Grace Hager, Beaudon Hager, Lilly Hager, and Chance Jennings.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24, from 3 to 4 p.m. with a service following at 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Karriker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park in Mooresville.

As the ONLY female cousin I had growing up, I always looked up to her. She was my best friend and rock especially during hard times. She was more like a sister than cousin. I’m gonna miss her so much.
