Gina Deree Houston, 52, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at her home. She was born May 5, 1967, in Mooresville, N.C., to Vickie Griffith Houston and the late Freddie Tilton Houston. She was a CNA at the Brian Center Mooresville. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Gina is survived by her mother, Vickie Griffith Houston; brother, F. Shane Houston; friend, Robin; and nieces, Kylie and Kara.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 27, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Sowell officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 to 2 p.m. also at the funeral home.
