Mrs. Josephine Harrington Maness, 92, died Thursday at Friendship Health and Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, Va. She was born Milledgeville, Ga., on December 21, 1927, to Felix Edward Harrington and Bessie Mae Smith Harrington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Will Maness, and a daughter, Janet M. Angley.

She was a member of Forest Park Presbyterian Church and was a retired RN from Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Hugh W. Maness Jr. (Regina); a daughter, Cynthia Maness; and grandchildren, Katherine Maness and Elizabeth Maness.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020, at Lakewood Memorial Park in Monroe with Rev. Scott Jeffreys officiating.
