Kathy Ruth Renwick, 65, of Statesville, N.C., died Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

She was born November 11, 1954, in Statesville to the late Donald Renwick and Betty Ruth Gray Renwick. Kathy was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Nathan Sharpe.

Kathy attended Unity High School and was a waitress. She loved watching TV, especially Westerns and soap operas. She also enjoyed word search puzzles.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Bobby Renwick (Lafreda) and Laron Renwick; a daughter, Anitra Gregory; two brothers, Donald Renwick and Bradley Renwick; two sisters, Rosalyn Stevenson (Hop) and Denise Sharpe; four grandchildren, Brianna Renwick, Imari Leak, Brevin Renwick and Nkosi Summers; a great grandchild, Inaam Goode; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Brown officiating. The family will speak with friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
