Ms. Katrina Ikard of Charlotte, N.C., daughter of the late Bryan Holmes and Shelby Ikard, was born in Iredell County on February 25, 1979. She departed this life on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, N.C., following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shelby Ikard.
Ms. Ikard was a graduate of Statesville High School, and she worked at Change Choice as a case manager. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the United House of Prayer Church.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life two daughters, Mahogany Poston and Kimora Poston, both of the home; seven sisters, Brandy Ikard of South Carolina, Candy Ikard of Charlotte, Latoya Corry, Kamma Grant, Akia Holmes and Kasinda Corry; three brothers, Shawn Grant, Quadarius Bailey, and Derrick Bailey; one grandchild, Emerald McClelland; one special friend, Robert Mungo; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Friday, November 20, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home in Statesville, N.C.
There will be no public visitation. Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, along with other funeral homes across the country, has been issued a mandate to limit the number of family and/or friends at funeral services. You can only enter the funeral with a funeral pass, which will be given to the family.
