Kenneth “Get to work” Street Jr., 71, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at his residence.

He was born on September 28, 1948, in Norwich, Conn., to the late Kenneth and Eva Pedace Street. Mr. Street was retired from NASA. He had a goal to publish 100 scientific papers and he achieved that goal. He was an avid fisherman and was a great husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary Laut Street; children, Andrea Street and Alex Street; stepchildren, Jessica Proctor and David Proctor; and grandchildren, Sofia, Samson, and Daniel Kinter.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
