Lovadia Poole Crouch, 90, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, June 8, 2020.

Lovadia was born in Johnson City, Tenn., on January 27, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Elva Poole of Statesville, N.C. She was predeceased by her brother, Zeb Poole of Mooresville, N.C.

Lovadia was employed for several years at Piedmont Lumber Company and later retired from Kewaunee Scientic Corporation in Statesville.

She is survived by her beloved children, Patricia Crouch West and Steven Wesley Crouch and his wife Neena; grandchildren, Susie Goforth and husband Sloan, Merritt Owings and husband Brooks, and Leanne Hutchinson; and numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Christine Somers and husband Richard, and beloved brother, George Poole and wife Cheryl.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetary in Statesville.

The family will speak to friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
