Mr. Norris Eugene Graham, 56, of 830 Wilson Lee Boulevard, Statesville, N.C., was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on February 17, 1964, and was the son of the late Ernest Graham and Pauline Wallace Graham. He departed this life on Monday, June 1, 2020, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, following an extended illness.
He was a graduate of South Iredell High School and was married to Bonetta Brooks Graham, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Gregory Graham of Troutman and Stanley (Amy) Graham of Charlotte; two sisters, Wanda Graham Grier of Charlotte and Charlene Graham of Rockville, Md.; his mother-in-law, Barbara Brooks of Statesville; a sister-in-law, Theresa Brooks of Statesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Elder Leonard Hayes will officiate and burial will follow in the Veterans Section in Belmont Cemetery.
General Public viewing will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the funeral home and will resume on Saturday, June 6, 2020, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.
There will be no public visitation. Unfortunately, with the COVID-19 crisis, Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, along with other funeral homes across the country, has been issued a mandate to limit the number of family and/or friends at funeral services. You can only enter the funeral with a funeral pass, which will be given to the family.
