Paula Kay Speights Benton, 58 of Statesville, N.C., passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born Tuesday, December 4, 1962, in Robinson County to the late Ervin Speights and Ella Frances Beaney Speights.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Ricky Speights.

Paula leaves to cherish her memory one son, Roger Benton and wife Micca of Illinois; two daughters, Alicia Benton and Leslie Cummings and husband Derrick, both of Statesville; one sister, Wanda Bullard of Lumberton, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Sally Cummings, Ayden Cummings, and Malia Benton.
