Robert Bruce Selvey, 55, of Statesville, N.C., died Sunday, June 14, 2020.

Bruce was born in Welch, W.Va., on June 5, 1965, to the late David Selvey and Alice East Selvey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Christina Bailey Selvey.

Bruce loved working on cars, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and going back home to the mountains. He was a people person and never met a stranger.

Survivors include his sister, Janet Musick (Marvin) of Kimball, W.Va., and an uncle, Daniel Selvey (Elizabeth) of Statesville.

There will be no formal services held.
