Sandra Woodside Hager, 73, of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, N.C.
She was born on December 3, 1946, in Statesville to the late Ray “Fox Hunter” Woodside and Wilma Barnes Woodside. Mrs. Hager enjoyed bowling, water and snow skiing, playing cards, gardening, singing in the choir, and won two state national championships for skeet shooting. She loved visiting the mountains, and she loved her dogs, Jackie and Willow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hager.
She is survived by her children, Tim Hager (Donna), Darren Hager (Lynn), Margaret Greene, and Bobbie McPhee; brother, Wayne Woodside; grandchildren, Jason, Wesley, Zach, Shaina, Josh, Trey, and Landen; and great granddaughter, Olivia.
The family will be holding a private service.

I knew Sandy way back when we were growing up and I remember when she married Donald. My friend and her cousin Revonda lived next door. I knew her mom and dad. She was a sweet and happy girl. I especially remember how happy she was when she and Donald got married. Prayers for the family. May God give you comfort.
