Timmy “TJ” Roberts Jr., 29, of Hiddenite, N.C., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 30, 2019. He was born Saturday, February 24, 1990, in Statesville, N.C., to Timmy and Katrina Roberts.

TJ was more than just a stepfather to four beautiful children, Lukas, Alexis, Addalin, and Kylee. He loved them all as his own.

TJ is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Roberts of the home; both parents, Timmy and Katrina Roberts of Hiddenite; younger brother, Jacob Roberts and wife Cori from Laeger, W.Va.; one nephew, Braxton; two nieces, Aubrie and Ivy Roberts; maternal grandparents, Cleda Carter and the late Russell T. Carter; his paternal grandparents, Teddy and Irene Roberts, both of Laeger, W.Va., as well as four uncles, five aunts, and many cousins.

TJ was always known to be the life of the party and was sure to bring smiles to everyone’s faces. He was a God-fearing man and a wonderful husband and father, but he was known to always help anyone in need, even if he didn’t have it. He was a loyal friend and had a loving heart.

Funeral Services will be held at Chapman Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 3 p.m. TJ will be laid to rest at Stony Point Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be Timmy Roberts Sr., Jacob Roberts, Josh Roberts, William Allen, Levi Myers, and Jose Carrera. Receiving of friends will be from 1 to 3 p.m. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.
