Alfred D. Moss, 69, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. He was born on September 13, 1951, in Statesville, N.C., to the late Coite and Joyce Wright Moss Sr.

Alfred was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Lowe’s Corporate. He moved from Myrtle Beach to Mooresville in 1996. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid coin collector. He loved to read and collect books.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Coite Moss Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Alisha M. Brady (Heath); sister, Cathy Morris (Robert); and grandchildren, William Brady and Gracie Brady.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating.
