Angela “Angie” Diane Wilcox, 48, of Statesville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was born on October 27, 1973, to James and Margaret Combs. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Eric Wilcox; her mother, Margaret Combs; her daughter, Shelly Stroud (Stan); and her three grandchildren, Andi, Jensen and Tarryn Stroud.
Angie graduated from North Iredell High School in 1992 and went on to obtain multiple academic achievements in the fields of Early Childhood Development and Alcohol & Drug Counseling.
She was a loving wife and “Nana.” Angie enjoyed riding motorcycles, touring the Blue Ridge Parkway with her husband and spoiling her fur baby, Chloe.
The family would like to express their thanks to the CCU staff at Iredell Memorial Hospital for their devoted care.
Please join Angie’s family for a Memorial Service celebrating her life on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 114 Bethany Road, Statesville, N.C., with Reverend Jack McConnell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
