Billie Jo Abernathy, 75, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Billie was born September 9, 1946, to Arvid and Rachel Ball.

Ms. Abernathy is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Abernathy; son, Daniel Ray Abernathy; daughter; Tanya Jackson; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at A New Beginning Pentecostal Holiness Church. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Tim Fluke officiating.
