Chuck Leroy Danyels, 72, of Statesville, N.C., died unexpectedly on Friday, October 22,2021. He was born in Chester, S.C., on August 1, 1949, to the late Ophelia Danyels and was raised by his late grandfather, Harland H. Danyels.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Chuck M. Danyels, in 2012; a brother, Melvin Danyels; and a brother-in-law, Larry Brackett.
Chuck was a graduate of South Iredell High School and attended trade school. On September 29, 1967, he married Vickie Lynch Danyels, and they shared over 54 years of marriage prior to his death. He first worked for Quality Aluminum for over 20 years and then for BM Lynch Sales for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, music, playing guitar, watching all kinds of sports, and counseling his children. He was a Christian man and loved the Lord. Most of all, he loved his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Vickie; a son, Chad Danyels, a daughter, Shelley Ireland; grandchildren, Eden Rosenbalm (Brandon) and Ashley Skinner (Ronny); great-grandchildren, Rylee, Greyson and Khloe Skinner and Ella Rosenbalm. He is also survived by a sister, Brenda Brackett.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Danyels will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Nicholson funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronny Skinner and Pastor Jeff Coley officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
