Curtis Daniel Safriet, 56, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Curtis was born July 9, 1965, to the late Howard and Viola Safriet. Curtis leaves behind a daughter, Abby Gregg (Brandon); grandson; Gabriel Gregg; granddaughter; Liberty Gregg; and one sister; Clovis Safriet.

A public lie-in-state will be held at Bunch-Johnson on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 2 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held, Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Bunch-Johnson at 12 noon with Pastor Chris Hazel officiating. Burial will follow at Society Baptist Church Cemetery.
