Dale Trivette, 51, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2021. He was born October 15, 1969, in Caldwell County, N.C., to the late Jones Trivette and Judy Kincaid. He was the fifth child following the late Johnny Trivette, Lisa Trivette, Jimmy Trivette, and living Joie Trivette.

Dale leaves behind his loving wife Cynthia Trivette; daughter Jessica Prevette; son Josh Trivette; granddaughter Ivy Prevette; and grandson William Trivette.

He was “daddy Dale” to Cristy Whisnant Clemons, Jennifer Trivette, Jimmy Trivette Jr., Brandon Parker, Allan Whisnant, Heather Brown, Terri Lamb, Jamie Young, Eston Hedrick, Emily Propst, Billy Andrews and many others, as he loved them as his own.

Dale adored his family and friends. As a child, he loved riding anything with wheels. He continued with that love as an adult by riding his Harley, four-wheeler, and side by side any chance he got.

Mr. Trivette owned Pro-Tech Roofing and was well known in the community for his craftsmanship.

If one needed to know how to do something, he was the guy his family and friends would call. He has been seen literally giving the shirt off his back and if he noted a need he filled it. He was fun-loving, worked hard, and played hard. Dale valued family, friendship, and service to others. He never met a stranger and treated those he met like family.

Dale loved his family unconditionally and will be sorely missed by each person that knew him.

Receiving of Friends will be held at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville, N.C., on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Oxford Memorial Baptist Church in Taylorsville, N.C., on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 3 p.m.
